Journey to Kerala

Recently, I had been to Kerala for a conference. From Ludhiana to Kerala, it was a journey of 50 hours. I was little afraid, as I had never traveled that wide before, but it was not that bad experience. In the train, we met people from North and South and received contrasting opinion about life in Kerala. But my personal experience says, that its very important to have a planned holiday, especially in terms of weather. It was really hot in Thrissur (the cultural capital of Kerala), our conference venue and being Punjabi, we were just not comfortable with the food. For people going to Kerala, I would advise to pack your stuff just according to the weather (google it before hand), get a good hotel, travel by public transport (that would be cheaper), and particularly visit places like Alleppey, Kovalam Beach and Athirapally falls
